A brief history of the weapon:

The AKM (Russian: Автомат Калашникова модернизированный Avtomát kalášnikova modernizírovannyii, i.e., "Modernized Kalashnikov assault rifle") is the stamped sheet metal version of the AK-47 in order to reduce production costs.

He replaced his predecessor in the Red Army and then in those of the Warsaw Pact countries.

Massively produced, it represents the bulk of the Kalashnikovs used in the world.

The bolt will stay in forward position once the magazine is empty and the hammer will knock the bolt without resulting in a "blank" firing (gas only/no bb) just like the real thing.

The take down for maintenance is also as close as possible to the real AKM.

• Realistic externals : The stock and hand guards are made from plastic with a special printing technic that mimics the wood pattern.

The receiver and grip also have a realistic finish. The top cover is a stamped steel piece, like the real AKM.

• Adjustable Front & Rear Sights : The front sight is adjustable in height by using a small tool that is included.

The rear sight can also be adjusted in height and also from right to left by turning the adjustment wheels of the rear sight.

• Muzzle Options : Beneath the flash hider is 14mm anti-clockwise thread on which can be installed suppressors or other flash hiders fitting this thread.
  
  
• Aluminium Diecast Magazine : The 35 rounds spare magazine is made out from diecast metal and is resistant to gas cooling.
