SU3616 30mm QD cantilever scope mount Picatinny is a one piece mount designed to secure a 30mm tube optic on a Picatinny rail. Its cantilever geometry moves the scope forward, helping you achieve proper eye relief on AR style platforms while keeping rear rail space free for backup sights or accessories. The dual quick detach levers allow fast removal and reattachment without tools, which is useful for transport, maintenance, or swapping optics between builds.
The monolithic body keeps both 30mm rings aligned and reduces the risk of ring misalignment compared to separate rings. The clamp system uses dual levers on one side and tensioning screws on the opposite side of the mount body, so you can tune clamping force to match your rail dimensions. This layout is intended to provide a secure lockup while still allowing fast on and off operation.
The cantilever provides about 40mm (1.57”) of forward offset compared with a non cantilever mount. This makes it easier to position LPVOs and other optics that require extra eye relief, especially on flat top uppers where rail space can be limited.
The SU3616 is specified with a 38mm (1.5”) centerline height. It also features a 6 MIL (20.6 MOA) built in tilt, which can help preserve elevation adjustment range for distance oriented setups. This geometry is commonly used where a 1.5 inch height provides a natural head position and consistent cheek weld.
This mount ships with a T2 red dot mount included, enabling a hybrid setup where you run your 30mm optic and a compact red dot on the same mounting system. The T2 mount can be installed in no fewer than 7 different positions on the SU3616 base, letting you fine tune placement forward, rearward, or in between to match your eye box, control access, and overall setup.
SU3616 30mm QD cantilever scope mount Picatinny fits 30mm scope tubes and Picatinny 1913 style rails. It is not intended for 1 inch, 34mm, or 35mm tubes. For best results, level your optic before tightening the ring screws, verify objective clearance, and close the QD levers with firm tension without forcing. Rail tolerances can vary across manufacturers, so the tension screws are useful to achieve consistent clamping and repeatable placement.
A 10 degree wedge is listed as included. The T2 red dot mount is also included. After the first sessions, recheck ring screw tightness and confirm that the optic remains level.
