Tokyo Marui EVOLT M4A1 Carbine Electric AEG Black introduces the EVOLT platform, a new generation of AEGs designed to feel more realistic in handling, more consistent in performance, and easier to service. The architecture is built around a separated mechabox concept, allowing a more true-to-life takedown while keeping the internal unit protected during transport thanks to the included receiver cover. In short, this is a premium M4A1 carbine designed for demanding players.
At the heart of the system, the M SYSTEM Type II uses an MCU to monitor sensors, voltage and motor behavior. This electronic management improves consistency, adds protection logic, and can stop operation when abnormal conditions are detected. The drivetrain is also upgraded with optimized gears and a dedicated EG1000BR motor, aiming for smoother rotation, better endurance and reduced noise.
The gearbox is split between upper and lower: the cylinder side is integrated into the upper receiver while the gear unit stays in the lower. This makes servicing and troubleshooting more straightforward, without sacrificing clean external lines when separated.
This EVOLT AEG runs only on the proprietary MS Li Po stick type battery, stored inside the buffer tube. Use the dedicated charger and an appropriate safety bag for charging. Fire control offers safe, semi and full auto, with a crisp and consistent feel expected from Réplique Tokyo Marui’s latest electric platform.
The auto stop function works with the dedicated EVOLT magazine so the rifle stops when the magazine is empty. First-round operation via the charging handle is reproduced, and the empty-mag behavior is simulated for a more realistic flow during reloads.
Tokyo Marui developed a dedicated chamber and magazine system: a stabilizer nozzle keeps nozzle position consistent, an inner elevation system maintains upward tension to prevent misfeeds, and a one by one loading system uses an internal shutter so BBs are delivered cleanly without spills or double-feeding.
The hop up is adjustable, and the platform is specified for 6mm BBs from 0.20 g to 0.28 g, allowing you to tune for range, grouping and field conditions.
Tokyo Marui EVOLT M4A1 Carbine Electric AEG Black ships in a 14.5-inch outer barrel configuration and includes an 11.5-inch barrel extension for a shorter profile. Removing the flash hider exposes a 14mm reverse thread for muzzle devices such as suppressors and tracer units (airsoft use). This is a shockless model (no recoil shock), focusing on stability and accuracy.
