Retroarms gearbox CNC V3 QD 8mm.

8mm gearbox in 7075 aluminum.

The V3 gearbox is fully milled in our CNC machining warehouse.

Compared to other aluminum gearboxes, it is made from AW EN7075 T651 aluminum block.

The source block weighs 1550g and only 110g of material remains when finished.

It is not made of cast aluminum alloy like the Chinese version.

Our gearbox is tested with an M160 spring without any signs of long term wear or breakage.

This one is manufactured to accept 8mm bearing or bushing (not included).

It is equipped with a QD (quick detach) quick spring change system (included)

Gearbox specification:

  • Reduction of cylinder head retaining stops - Cylinder heads from all manufacturers can be used
  • Made for greater airflow.
  • Inspection window for checking the piston position.
  • Opening to release the anti-return.
  • No more bevelled edges at the gearbox.
  • New screws more resistance All standard version 3 gearbox parts can of course be used.
  • The two halves fit together with absolute precision, including the bearing holes, which are 100% coaxial.

Another small feature:

  • Micro-grooves on the rods, which hold the spring of the switch and the flat tappet, keep them in place and do not slip.
  • The set includes 1 x Gearbox V3 QD, 2 x M2.5 x 3mm screw, gearbox closing screw and CNC spring guide.
  • The gearbox comes with a lifetime warranty against breakage.
  • It does not take into account breakage caused by incorrectly used parts, eg. Incorrect cylinder head.
  • We try to adjust our gearboxes as much as possible to allow the use of the widest variety of brands of parts.
  • However, we still recommend using Retroarms internal parts, as they are the most compatible.
